A Non-Profit Organization is looking for an individual who would be in charge of building maintenance operation, custodial care, project management, fire and safety programs, and equipment inventory control. This position is also combined with that of House management operations.
Responsibilities and Special qualifications: Ability to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules, events or emergency situations. Must have basic computer skills. Should have some knowledge of techniques and crafts involved in preventive maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, quality control, construction, carpentry, and mechanical equipments/tools. Should be open to new ideas and adaptable to changing technology. Should also have the ability to conduct or present information during meetings. Also this position requires a person to be comfortable interacting with individuals or group settings with great people's skills and professionalism, as well as a team player. The person must have a valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
Experience: At least three years of successful supervisory experience, preferably in a residential or facility maintenance position.
Education: Degree in Facility management is desirable although significant experience and special training may be acceptable in lieu of a degree. High School Diploma is a must.
