This restored 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser began as a new Toyota purchased in Texas in 1978. The present owner bought
this Land cruiser from a Lexus mechanic in the Spring of 2013. He then had the utility vehicle completely
disassembled, cleaned, rust areas were all replace or made to perfection by craftsman to match original. The frame
was coated with protective coating. The interior was restored to all original specs using NOS parts. All badges and
exterior trim were replaced with new from Toyota. This Land Cruiser is excellent in every area from the
undercarriage, engine bay, interior, and exterior. It also has the rare side by side rear entry doors and tire
carrier. In total, roughly 891 hours of labor have been applied to the restoration of this perfect '78 FJ40 in the
last 3 years .
It's driven on a regular basis and starts right up on the first try. As depicted in the many photos, this 1978 Land
Cruiser has been professionally restored back to better than factory condition. There are 3 small chips on the
roof.
