The vehicle has only travelled appox 2, 000 miles since it was restored by Corvette specialists NABER Brothers in
TEXAS, USA in 1988
1965 was a milestone year for Corvette. It was the first year for the big block motor, the first year for 4 wheel
disc brakes and the last year for the fuel injected 327
The vehicle was stolen from Auckland, New Zealand, and thankfully recovered some time later. However for reasons
only known to one the original manufacturers plate has been removed from under the glove box. However all
documentation supplied with the vehicle provides the original VIN number. The engine number has worn in one end,
but has been x-rayed to confirm number.
The vehicle was found with paint damage only and was repaired through a bare body fibreglass total vehicle respray
to Rally Red using original colour code of UU.
The fuel injection system on the vehicle has also just been rebuilt.
Subsequent to repair, the vehicle has a superficial gouge through the paint on the front right corner - this will
be repaired prior to sale.
All the documentation we have including NZRS certificate will be provided to the new owner, and documents are
available to be viewed as part of the vehicle.
The vehicle is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand.
We will happily work with the successful purchaser to freight it to the USA. As an option, you may wish to fly to
New Zealand to purchase the vehicle, use it to tour New Zealand, and at the end of your tour ship it back home with
you. The ultimate souvenir!!!
